Dual Diagnosis Program

Our Dual Diagnosis Program is a leading treatment center that offers residential treatment for individuals of all genders who are struggling with addiction and different types of mental health disorders. Our clinical team has extensive experience in treating complex cases of co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders, providing specialized treatment necessary for a complete recovery.

Addiction with Co-Occurring Mental Health

Our treatment program for addiction with co-occurring mental health provides residential treatment for individuals of all genders who are struggling with addiction and different types of mental illness. Our clinical team has extensive experience in treating complex cases of co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders, providing specialized treatment necessary for a complete recovery.

Women's Mental Health

Our women’s mental health program is a specialized residential treatment program for women and people of diverse genders who are struggling with borderline personality disorder (BPD), emotional dysregulation, and other acute psychiatric conditions. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is the primary mode of treatment used within our women’s mental health program, and it’s one of the only programs like it in the country.

Gender Inclusive Mental Health Program

Our gender inclusive primary mental health program is located in charming Venice Beach, offering a comfortable, home-like environment for adults 18 and older. This specialized program includes private rooms offering both sanctuary and a supportive community for our clients.

Clearview gave me a breath of fresh air to acquire useful knowledge, tools, skills, and provided immense support to get me on a good path of sobriety. The psychiatrists, therapists, clinicians, behavior techs, discharge planning, and even the cooks made it such a wonderful experience to learn and grow. Every one of the staff there truly care so much to help each client help ourselves and that was very evident from the intake process all the way through the day I left. Clearview really provided a great community and empowered me to utilize the community, resources, and support that is always available even beyond leaving there. Clearview has helped me beyond words can explain. I’m a completely different person than when I walked in that door. One of my favorite things about Clearview is their long term support system. Ana the alumni coordinator is amazing! She is available 24/7 for crisis support or even just to have someone to talk to. She has also created a groupme chat where all the alumni clients can chat and support each other. Continued support is so important to a persons recovery. I would definitely recommend Clearview women’s center and their services to anyone in need.

Clearview treatment centre saved my life! I came to clearview with no hope and no will to live and I leave today feeling like I have finally found a life worth living and nothing but hope for the future. Not only has it helps me get sober but it has stabilized my medication and taught me skills that make it possible to live with the diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder. I’m so grateful for all of the staff and my peers who helped me rediscover who I am! Clearview saves lives!

I’ve been to like 10 residential programs and I can say with confidence that this is the best treatment center I’ve been to. The staff here truly care for you and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and make sure you get the help you need. I met some of my best friends here and we all still support each other and come back to their Alumni meetings every month. I can’t accurately express my gratitude for clearview enough, they have completely changed my life! Big shoutout to Anna, Jojo, Jordan, Tokyo Drift and Smiley!

Family Program

Family support is vital when it comes to completely recovering from mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders. At Clearview, we know how important this component is to treatment, which is why we created several opportunities for families to be involved in treatment and to get the support they need, including our Two-day Family Program, our Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Family Skills Course, our Family Support Group, and Family Therapy. I had an amazing time at Clearview. The behavioral techs made the place. Special shout out to Ana the art therapist and BT who always had a kind word, a shoulder to lean on, advice to give or an ear to listen. Anne was another one, she also was super supportive and went above and beyond for her clients. Making sure all of us felt cared for and safe. Sydney the therapist is amazing. She pulls no punches, tells it like it is and asks of you only what she knows you are capable of doing.

The staff here are very passionate about their work, which translates into a lot of passion for helping the clients in their care. The dual-diagnosis and women's centers are both beautiful facilities; there are fruit trees and herb gardens for clients to enjoy, as well as lots of beautiful flowers. The rules are reasonable, and staff are flexible if a rule needs to be bent for a specific client needing an exception. The food is prepared by wonderful chefs, so there's no worries about going hungry while you're here. They keep out pastries and teas and coffee for clients to eat when the chefs are off-shift. Overall, it's a worthwhile experience.

Clearview helped me in so many ways. The staff was so helpful, they were always there to help and listen/validate whatever I was struggling with. I never felt judged by any staff here, unlike any other treatment center, which was was amazing. The staff here really helped me work through a lot of what I was struggling with, especially Ana. She was always there to listen and support me when I came to her with a problem. She always checked up on me when I was having a hard time or a bad day and gave me the best advice on how to handle any problems. Leaving Clearview was bittersweet because I always felt support and love from both clients and staff here.

Payment Options

All Clearview residential programs are in network with Anthem Blue Cross and Kaiser and have negotiated rate agreements with First Health and Multiplan PPO policies.

Additionally, our Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center is in network with MHN/Healthnet. We also accept out-of-network benefits from other major insurance companies, and for those preferring to pay for treatment directly, we offer a private-pay rate.

We are proud to be participating providers in the VA Community Care Network. Each program’s NPI number is listed below:
