Steps to Admission at Clearview Treatment Programs
Admissions begins with a complimentary, confidential biopsychosocial assessment. This non-diagnostic conversation gathers the clinical and background information needed to determine whether a Clearview residential, day, or outpatient program is the right fit. It takes about an hour and can be completed in person, by phone, or by video call.
Clearview’s admissions team helps each client find the appropriate program and level of care, even when that means referring to a different provider. The team coordinates closely with referring professionals and family members, and prospective clients are welcome to tour a facility before making their decision.
Once admissions is complete, the team coordinates every detail of arrival: local transportation, financial arrangements, check-in time, and what to pack. Clearview’s treatment team is briefed on each client’s needs and preferences before arrival, so the first day feels as smooth as possible.
Insurance + Payment Options
All Clearview residential programs are in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Health Net / MHN, and Kaiser, and hold negotiated rate agreements with First Health and MultiPlan PPO policies. Clearview is also proud to be a VA Community Care Network provider, serving veterans seeking residential treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.

Frequently Asked Questions
What programs does Clearview Treatment offer?
Clearview offers multiple psychiatric care programs, including residential programs for addiction with co-occurring mental health disorders and a women’s mental health program that specializes in treating women with borderline personality disorder (BPD), emotional dysregulation, and acute psychiatric disorders.
Additionally, Clearview offers step-down outpatient treatment options with partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming for mental health disorders with optional housing support.
Are you an addiction treatment center?
Although we treat individuals experiencing substance use disorder with co-occurring mental health issues, we are not a detox or primary addiction treatment center.
Who do you treat, and what payment methods are available?
Outpatient Treatment: All genders, ages 18 and older
Addiction with co-occurring mental health disorders: All genders, ages 18 and older
Women’s Mental Health Program: Clients with diverse gender identities (ages 18 and older), including cisgender women, trans women, trans men, and non-binary AFAB (assigned female at birth) individuals.
While our Women’s Mental Health Program accepts out-of-network benefits and private payment, our programs for addiction with co-occurring mental health and outpatient treatment are in-network with some insurance providers. Our admissions team helps each client understand their payment options and create a financial plan so they can get the help they need.
What is the cost of treatment?
The cost of treatment varies depending on the program you enter and the length of stay. Clearview offers multiple treatment options, allowing us to tailor a treatment plan that works with your financial needs. Our admissions coordinators can assist you in creating a treatment plan that is right for you. Find out how by calling our admissions team at (310) 455-5258.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept payment via several methods, including most major credit cards, wire transfers, and cashier’s checks. Financing from an eligible lender may also be accepted.
What is your success rate?
Treatment success varies depending oneach client’s commitment and motivation for treatment, as well as the time they’re in treatment and their continuing care plan. We’ve found that the more time the client spends in a treatment program, the greater their chance of success. Our complete continuum of care increases our clients’ chances at prolonged recovery by ensuring continued support and a smooth transition as they step down from residential to outpatient treatment, as needed. Before each client leaves treatment, we work with them to put together a continuing care plan to help ensure sustained recovery.
