Specialized DBT Treatment for Women's Mental Health
Clearview Treatment Programs is nationally recognized as a leader in behavioral health care. Its women’s mental health program is a comprehensive dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) program for adult clients of diverse gender identities living with complex emotional disorders — one of the only programs in the country designed specifically for borderline personality disorder (BPD) and serious emotional dysregulation.
A DBT-Centered Approach to BPD Treatment
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is the core of Clearview’s women’s program. DBT is a powerful, evidence-based therapy proven effective for treating BPD and a range of other mental health conditions — helping clients build practical skills that improve overall quality of life.
Working with trained DBT clinicians, each client develops an individualized treatment plan to reduce ineffective behaviors and strengthen adaptive coping skills. Through individual DBT sessions, DBT skills-training groups, homework, and phone coaching, clients build the foundation for lasting change.
Our Expertise

Why Choose Clearview's Women's Program
Clearview’s women’s mental health program pairs clinical rigor with a small, supportive setting. Clients receive evidence-based individual and group therapy, nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs, structured activities, and scheduled downtime for rest.
A Dedicated Clinical Team
Clearview’s trained therapists and staff provide around-the-clock care in an intimate, all-female setting — a safe environment for clients to address their most challenging issues.
Individual + Group Therapy
Clients meet regularly with a DBT therapist and at least weekly with a psychiatrist. Group offerings include DBT skills training, CBT, ACT, behavioral activation, Seeking Safety for trauma, mindfulness, art therapy, yoga therapy, life coaching, and pottery, plus regular mindfulness outings.
Activities + Recreation
Evenings and weekends include structured activities and downtime — gym outings, beach walks, 12-step meetings (as appropriate), and store runs. Clients have access to coaching and skills practice whenever needed, so they never feel alone.
Food + Nutrition
Clearview’s culinary team prepares nutritious meals that support recovery, with accommodations for kosher, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs.
Family Support
DBT Family Skills Course
A five-week DBT skills course for family members, offering an overview of the skills their loved one is learning. When families learn DBT skills alongside their loved one, they can communicate and offer support more effectively. The course also connects families with others going through similar experiences. Held weekly via a virtual platform, led by an experienced DBT therapist, and included as part of treatment for families of clients in the women’s program.
Family Therapy
Every client can receive couples and family therapy sessions (as clinically appropriate), focused on communication, planning, and psychoeducation.
